Pharmacist using Janssen Vaccine

The Medical Hall, Proud to be providing vaccines to the local community

The Medical Hall and the  team at the pharmacy have been part of Ireland’s vaccine rollout in the fight against the covid-19 pandemic. The pharmacy is now offering the seasonal flu vaccine both to patients eligible for a free HSE vaccine and to patients who wish to protect themselves by paying for a private vaccine. Children aged between 2 and 17 years can avail of a free vaccine administered by nasal spray.

One of the patients who received the jab had the following to say about their experience at The Medical Hall: “I was a little nervous before getting the vaccine, due to a childish fear of needles! Aideen and her team made me feel comfortable straight away. They ensured I was fully informed of the process, asked to see if I was medically eligible, and ensured that I was given an opportunity to read the information and consent to the treatment. After the seamless jab, I was monitored for a period of time to ensure I was fit and healthy before being given my certificate and let on my way. I’d like to thank the HSE and the pharmacy for giving me the chance of getting the vaccine!”

As with all medicines, there is a risk of side effects from taking the vaccine. A full list of unbiased medical information is available on the HSE website at the following link https://www2.hse.ie/screening-and-vaccinations/covid-19-vaccine/side-effects/. If you have any concerns, please reach out to the team at The Medical Hall or your local GP.
